“Each artist has the necessity to extrapolate beyond himself; his world, full of passion, goals and fears, which are products of his own existence but the inevitable impulse to share what might belong only to one person, allows that experience to become Art.
As an artist, I’m not the only one who focuses my creative work on the thoughts, questions and concerns which have accumulated during my life experiences, experiences which have left a deep impact on my personality both as a human and as an artist.
In the current stage of my life, I’m not looking for cold art, nor do I pretend to flirt with any kind of art labeling or pretentious definitions, neither I want to cover my intentions with certain contemporary art’s recipes, in order to achieve the product I’m looking for. In order to pursue my goals, I would rather start from the simplicity of the object, taking it not like an anecdotal source of information, but as a visual and rhetorical origin. In the process I concern myself with my capacity to elevate the plasticity of the form to the greatest, without any kind of codification. In my opinion: Any piece of art is an integral part of the whole universe and at the same time a sub product which reinforces its conceptual and aesthetic values.
Every artist’s step shows by itself the achievements and fails of his creative trip in determined life’s opportunities. I am not afraid to be judged neither I attempt to pave a way for futures judgments; I merely intend to figure it out how to communicate my feelings and concerns without too much disturbance, or merely I want to liberate all that I have accumulated until now, through the only way I’m able to convince people.”
